he's off at his bachelor party & making me go to our 2nd night of pre-cana SOLO (they think he's working actually)....fun....with 4 other couples.....

I would kill him too. I am so happy since my fiance in a fireman in the city he has a different schedule every week and I told the father this and we didn't even have to take a pre-cana. We had 3 meeting with him for 1/2 hour and talked about our jobs, where we will live after etc.

Sorry, but I think that's just wrong. We had to do pre-cana on my 30th birthday. Everybody wanted to throw me a party that day. (And they are all from OOT and willing to travel) I went to pre-cana instead. Your wedding is 2 months away. He had time to do it another day. Beginning your life together by lying to the church irks me. JMO.

Well his bp was planned since Feb . & b/c of issues w/ the church we didn't find out about precana until 2 weeks ago. On the paper I said the only day we couldn't do was Fri. (he works Fri. nights) & that is the day they gave us.
I told them he couldn't make it & they said I had to go. Another couple had the same issue for another Fri. & they told them the same.
