FH is...

Driving me nuts!!!!! We should have eloped because all we are doing lately is arguing about the wedding and how we can't afford it. I want to kill him!

weddings are stressful financially. Mine is being great about it but for many men they don't care to having these elaborate weddings that girls dream of.

im convinced that the engagement period is the most difficult time of a couples life---you are having to figure out how to pay for a wedding, while figuring out how to mesh your lives together 100%. its difficult, but just hang in there and suggest alternate ways to saving money...maybe by not going out to dinner or combing some bills to make them cheaper (ie: cell phone, car insurance) and in the end everything will work out juuuust fine

I got to tell you that the engagement was stressful for us too. It's such an awakening period. FH and I were arguing NON stop about everything. Once you get past it, you'll be alright- I promise!

The first few weeks of our engagement were the worst. We argued non-stop and I cried a few times. It didn't help that those were the first few weeks we were living together either. We definitely argued about the money thing too. But, once we got passed it and learned to compromise a little more, things have been wonderful ever since! Don't worry, it will pass.

believe me I know!!

My FH thinks money grows on trees. Like we are gonna have this big fancy wedding and live in my basement apartment forever.

And i am sure the worst arguement has not happened yet because this is just the beginning.

Well what doesn't break us will only make us stronger... and we have been through more tramatic things then this.

I just hate that i am the one being all financially aware and he basically wants to turn this wedding into something like mariah and tommy matola's wedding.

AND invite people that he doesnt even SPEAK to anymore....

The guestlist is going to KILL MEEEEEEEEEEEe!

Same here. FH seems to think that 'we still have time' to book everything. But my argument is the sooner they are booked, the more time we have to pay them off! Grrrr...I know what you mean, he drives me nuts too!!

Me and FH did the same thing. We stopping arguing about it though. But he is still annoying me though b/c he wants to be involved in the planning but he is so busy so I have to work around when he is available and now that I am not working over the summer, I want to get things done. I can't even block my hotel rooms and send out my Save The Date's b/c he wants to go with me

Plannind a wedding can be stressful. Take a deep breathe and relax. Take it one step at a time, dont try to do it all at once.

It happens my FH and i argue all the time about $$$ and how expensive its getting..but then he turns around and say we need this that and the next ...soo.....
