FH is a PITA. Does anyone else's....

want to be too involved and yet groans when you ask him wedding-related things?

Like my FH hardly ever wants to talk about the wedding but say I were to go out and buy something for it - like a platter guestbook or some other type of wedding accessory (like BM gifts that I KNOW I will want in a year, in 5, in 50) he gets all POd if I don't consult him first but when I TRY to, I get 'not now'.

It's so frustrating. I want all creative control over this wedding. I don't care if that makes me a brat. Anyone else feel this way?

OMG Thats really funny because I was driving to work today thinking of all this...I am in the same boat...he was upset that I didn't consult with him on BM dresses...i mean come on I doubt he really cares taht much about their dresses

My FH was like that for a little while even tho he said he wanted involved in everything at first. I took it upon myself to look at stuff and then brought it to him. he would say yes or no. You never know...he might come around. FH surprised me by designing our STDs without me even asking or anything. so maybe yours will come around once it sinks in that 'its time'.

OMG I know the feeling! My FH pitched a fit when I told him I blocked the hotel rooms for the wedding weekend. He claims that was one of the things he wanted to do. Are you kidding me??? It took 5 minutes and if it was still his responsibility, it still wouldn't be done.

Luckily, FH doesn't have too many opinions when it comes to the wedding, but he never gets excited about things.... I don't expect him to get excited about the toasting flutes (unlike myself... sooooo excited), but at least he can fake it!

My FH is a royal pain in the behind as well!!! He wants a say, yet when I try to discuss things, he gets all... not right now. It really freakin pisses me off. He thinks we 'have time' for everything. Meanwhile isn't the point of planning so far in advance is to not stress out last minute??? If I would've known we 'have time' I would've pushed to get married in 07! Although I love my 08ers!!

Same here and in fact it'd be nice if I we actually had time to talk about anything - dating a longdistance doctor s*cks and what's worse is when I always have to call FH and when I don't he want's to know why he hasn't heard from me - whatever....
