FH IS BEING SUCH A PITA!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGHHH!!!!

He NEVER calls ANY Vendors.

He says he wants a bagpiper but he refuses to call one!!!

he will only meet with vendors if I call them and set up a meeting and find out directions and basically do everything!!!

anyone else's FH act like this?

sorry needed to VENT!!!

Its funny bec I posted that I was feeling guilty that I dont include FH in my planning , my FH hasnt called a vendor yet and wont bec Im the one doing that. Yeap FH can be a pita sometimes, its all up to me

I think it a guy thing with the phone.

I have to fight w/ FH to call his parents, forget vendors!!

He says- 'I dont do phones' LOL

i call and make and appointment then FH does the follow up calls and price haggeling lol he love it!

wow, we so the opposite. in the beginning, i made him make all the phone calls to vendors as i hate talking on the phone - we call it my phone phobia. but when we got around to the florist, i had to start doing that myself. even now that i'm calling hair and make up people, it takes me over 30 min to work up the courage to call. w/ people i know, i have no problem. if anything, i was the PITA!

I make ALL the phone calls to the vendors and he comes with me to them. If a vendor calls to ask if we're booking. He handles that. I hate saying no to people. I feel bad.

SAME HERE!!! but with us, he wont call anyone. even if its ordering dinner, i have to call. hes not good on the phone. im more of a people person than he is.

FH wont call anyone. He hands me the phone when we have to order food. I was surprised he rescheduled his own dentist appointment the other day. Dont feel bad, I think its a common guy thing.

My FH told me the day that we got engaged that although this is his day too- it's really just my day! He told me that he's okay with anything I want to do but that he has no clue about weddings and planning- so it's up to me to do it. He told me to just let him know in advance when we have an apt with a vendor and he'll be right at my side. And as far as my ideas and projects- I just share them with him and he tells me what he thinks. So far, the only conflict we had was the night I made an apt during an Islander game (he has season tickets).... I didnt want to cancel and he didnt want me to go alone, so he came and listened to the game the whole time on his little radio (the florist didnt know). Everytime I'd ask him what he thought, he'd say 'I LOVE IT'.

Oh but there was one time where I was a little overwhelmed and busy with students- so he called a vendor to ask a few questions that I had. So I really can't complain.

FH has been good with calling the hotels. He also called to book the band. Most of the appointments I've set up but he's paying for about 90% of the wedding so I can't complain!

I think our FH are related. I get the I dont do phones also.

I am pretty sure that FH is only going to do the tuxes after I make the appt and he'll show up at the church. Its not many times you hear that the guy wants to get involved.

I am lucky. He has been really good. I talk to vendors all day long for work so he has done a lot of the calls for me! But then my OCD comes out and I have to take over!

mine does make any phone calls either. i pretty much have free reign when it comes to the planning which i kinda like. when i need his help though he pitches in.

oh course he is but really i rather just do it because he would have no idea who i want to call or when was a good time so its just easier to do it myself. but FH is always there with me, goes to all appointments and is helpful in other ways
