I cannot believe he is doing this! i am so happy with my ring now and he just spilled his own beans and told me that he has a 1.8 carat solitaire stone on layaway in jared! (mine right now is about 1 carat solitaire and 1.5 ctw)
he didn't have to do that...but ok! i'm excited! lol

i'd make it into a pendant necklace. you can wear it and then you could pass it down to future children (without having to give up your own ring when the time comes)

That sounds awesome! I think the pendant/heirloom idea. One day one of your daughters or granddaughters can wear it. I wish I could've done the same but there are no diamonds in the family.

the pendant idea is a great idea bc when i mentioned the earring FH is like nono i don't need that...that's a great idea! very sentimental!

That's awesome Tess! Definitely have it made into a pendant! Or a ring for FH. My dad took the original stone he gave my mom and replaced it. He used the original to make a ring for himself.
