I just received an email that FH's submarine will be coming up 2 days earlier than expected. Yay!!!!
The countdown shortens. I will be going to the base on Monday for a family meet and greet and his sub arrives Tuesday morning. I can't wait.

He'll be in New London Connecticut til about March and then more than likely New Hampshire for about a year. He 'shouldn't' have to go on any long term deployments for about another 18 months.
We will probably be able to see each other every other weekend now.
