So I collected all of the addresses for the invitations (including all of his friends and family). All he had to do was get maybe 5 addresses of people I didn't know where to send the invitation to. He held up the guest list for 2 WEEKS while I asked him to get the couple of addresses. Finally I just sent the list to the calligrapher without those addresses.
We sent out our invitations about two weeks ago and he STILL hasn't gotten the addresses for me. I just want this to be done and it's bad enough that I have to find a way to print these envelopes now. How difficult is it to get 5 addresses please tell me

Can you look up the people's numbers in his cell phone and do it yourself? That might be the easiest way this is going to get done!

If you know their last name, go to the white pages online and you should be able to find them providing their #s are listed. Although you shouldnt have to!

Thanks girls. I have asked him more times than you could imagine. I told him whatever addresses I don't by tonight I guess he doesn't want them to come to the wedding that bad and they aren't invited!

I have to laugh bc Fh did the same thing with the STDs!!! He had 7 addresses to get and didn't bother for a MONTH. So....needless to say they did not get STD's and he STILL hasn't gotten the addresses. I told him I don't care if they come or not...they're not my friends! I will bet they won't be invited to the wedding at all!Dumba$$!

Hahaha. Jon (FH) did the same thing. I needed the addresses from his friends at work and he took forever so he decided to just hand deliver them to everyone at work. I hated it but I couldn't wait anymore. I had to give in.

Gina that's not a bad idea. Two of the people he works with so maybe I will just have him hand deliver. That way I don't have to worry about addressing the envelope.

My FH did the exact same thing! It was like pulling teeth to get some of his friends' addresses... and there is still one we don't have b/c he moved to Miami on March 1st. 3 weeks ago!! HELLO there is a thing called E-MAIL we have nowadays!!!! Mind you, our invites were sent out almost 4 weeks ago. Our wedding is in 36 days. Is this guy going to get an invitation? One may never know.

FH did the same thing, infact I just sent out the last one today that I addressed myself. I originally sent all my envelopes to the calligrapher end/Feb.

GOod! And stick with it - and when people get confused as to why they werent invited - FH just couldnt get an address.... oh well!

im so sorry!
None of FH family was at our E-party cause they didnt get me the addresses.....nne of the are invited to my shower...i have been asking him for the invite list since december and i just got the addresses from him a month ago!! I sent out the invites to my family first and then did his....and because of that we went over the ammount of people we wnated to invite!! i thought he would only have about 30 ppl. He had almst 70 on the list his dad gave him!!!

Kim- I feel your pain! FH did the same thing. I finally went and called these people myself. He just kept 'forgetting' to call. I really should have just not invited them (since he didnt care enough to get their info) and then he would have had to deal with it after.
