He is getting to come home to see me before he goes and then he will be gone for six months to a year. ..............
he just called to tell me that I am in charge of his benefits in case
you have no idea what that phone call does to your heart ..................

I agree with what everyone else said..please tell your FH thankyou! Without guys like him..I wouldnt be feeling so safe! Those soldiers are the bravest men and I always keep them in my prayers!!! Now I will especially keep your Fh and you too in my prayers!

Best wishes to you both. My brother and DH's cousin are there too. They will come home safe-you must believe.

One way my family copes is by trying to do stuff that makes us feel better. We send a lot of care packages. Here's a site for anyone that wants to send a care package or airline miles to the troops:
