FH is in a wedding next week and there is no rehersal dinner!

FH is in a wedding next week and there is no rehersal dinner!

He obviously knows what he needs to do, but what about the ring bearers & flowergirls? Do you think the whole ceremony will be a mess?

Is anyone else not doing a RD? We might not be able to afford a big one but we will at least do a run through at the church then go out for pizza or something.

I'm not having a rehearsal dinner.

I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow and the hall is doing a run through 1/2 hour before the ceremony without me.

I don't think it's a big deal. It was to me at first, but really, it shouldn't be.

My brother got married in a church no rehersal. My cousins got married at Coral house no rehersal or dinner. Other cousins got married at Thatched cottage no rehersal but there was a dinner.

We are having a dinner, but no rehersal. We are getting married at the hall, and they said we will run through it the day of, before people show up. We are going early to take pics anyway..

Our hall does the rehersal the day of the wedding. Our rehersal is scheduled at 6:15 for our 7pm ceremony. I will not be taking part. FH and I don't want to see each other before the ceremony.

We are having what we are calling the non-rehersal dinner. It is basically so that the out of town guests and our BP can chill and meet and greet before the big day.

I wish we could get away without a rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Everyone knows what to do, or should be able to figure it out quickly if there's a good director that day.

My best friend got married at the hall and didnt have a rehearsal dinner and everything went perfectly. I dont really want to do it, but my mom insists that we should. Seriously if I didnt have a little cousin who is going to be the ring bearer from hell, I wouldnt do it.

FH was in 2 weddings they had rehersal but neither had a rehersal dinner. We are planning on having something maybe not in a fancy restaurant, but we are planning on going to out to eat later.

We're not having a rehearsal and probably not a dinner either. Our wedding is Sunday at 11:30, so I don't want to be out too late because of a dinner...

We didn't have a rehearsal. We took the OOT guests to dinner.

Jewish weddings don't have rehersals at all, the reasoning being that you can't rehearse for real life. So no rehersal here!

In the Jewish religion, there is no 'rehearsal'. Its not really that complicated. You line up, walk in, wait, walk out.

we did not do a rehersal dinner. firstly, we were married on a friday and had a lot of out of town bridal party members... if we did the rehersal the week before 1/2 of the party wouldn't be able to make it. if we did it the night before (thursday) people would have to leave early for work, rush from the airport, etc.. and we didn't want that either.

we were married at the hall and a lot of the halls do not allow you to reherse b/c they are using the space for another event.

we did a run through 15 minutes before and everything went off without a hitch.

we are not having a RD, but we will have a rehearsal and we are going to have a little something afterwards. probably fried chicken and rice and peas,etc....
