I dont have school today so I called FH up to say good morning. Well he calls me back and sounds like crap. He proceeds to tell me how miserisable his morning has been. That a student at his school died over the weekend and that another one was diagnosed with bells palsy. He was doing sooo well this week which I was surprised since it was the 15th anniversary of his dads death. but this is the 3rd student to die in 2 years and he he sounds like a mess and I cant do anything about it cuz he probably wont get home till after 10 cuz he has afterschool stuff. I just dont know what to do right now

Awww man. Losing a student is really tough, I know.
I really think that those blue mountain cards tend to sum up what you want to say pretty good. See if you can find one that will work for you. Or just get a blank one and fill in what you need.

aww Christina i am sorry for this! all i can tell you is to just be there for him and be ready to hear him out...also sometimes when FH is down i would go to the mall and buy him a nice card and put nice words in it to make him feel better it works!!...good luck Christina

When my FH has a rough day....I usually help with his bags when he gets home, sit him down and just give him a hug and kiss his forehead. No words, just something to show him that I am there for him if he needs me.

before FH and I lived together, if he had a bad day, I would just show up at his office and wait by his car for him to come out and he loved it. I don't know if you could pull off something like that. If not, just be there to listen to whatever he might have to say.

awww Christina... im so sorry hun... just keep an eye on him call him make sure hes ok.. maybe suprise him and cook something for him.... just be there for him... i hope hes ok...
