FH is relentless

he keeps on talking about how i had WAY too much makeup at ALL of my trials and now i'm really self conscious about it

i wear makeup everyday and though i dont want to look like plastic, i DO want to look special and not like i'm going to work

aww well explain to him that it also takes a lot more makeup than usual to show up nice in pics.. i think you looked beautiful in your trial pics

now he's talking about how 'people talk' and he doesnt want people to have anything to say about me!!!!

im so annoyed! i told him to trust me and my judgement and also that when im dressed up in my gown and veil, the makeup will look more appropriate than in jeans and a tank top!!!

exactly! i hope you can get him to understand its perfectly normal for the bride to get really done up on her day.. it doesnt say anything bad about you.

You NEED more makeup then normal for it to show up special in photos. Its just like being on stage or film! I think you look stunning in all of your trials. Tell FH :P

im so upset and annoyed i dont even want to discuss it anymore

he is actually scaring me from walking down the aisle at the thought of him seeing my face and thinking im BOZO

LAURA!!!! you are no BOZO!!! 1st of all your hair is not red, and secondly I dont think you wear size 13 shoes.....

Dont worry! I know he will see you coming down the aisle and just be amazed and totally spellbound, by your beauty!!

FH just came into the bedroom with my entire makeup bag and said HE is going to do my makeup and now he wants to do a trial

it was pretty funny, but i only allowed him to put lipgloss on

maybe you can just tne the colors down a little?? maybe skip eyeliner if you used it.. i know when i put on eye lines steve asks why i have so much makeup on....when i dont he doesnt say anything.

I think ur makeup trials look gorgeous and the eyelashes are great. Just tell ur FH that you need more makeup than usual for the pictures.

I know that my FH complains when I wear any more makeup than I do for work, which is under eye concealer, mascara and lip gloss!

I think he just doesn't understand how much make-up you have to have on for it to come out in pictures. My FH said the same thing about all my trials but it's only because we don't wear that much make-up everyday so they're not used to it. But this isn't everyday, it's our wedding. Very different. Don't let him get to you, you're the girl, you know how much make-up is too much. But if you are that upset, you can always go for another trial and have oksana tone down the make-up, but IMO, I don't think that's necessary.

This is a fear I have about my FH....I haven't done any make up trials yet, but I want enough make up on that it will show in pictures and look good and last, but not too much that I don't look like me (i don't normally wear much makeup at all)

I am just scared I will love it and he will say it's too much

the thing is that i do wear makeup everyday; i dont know why he thinks i had that much on; maybe because i was very tan and she had to make the colors darker to show up over the tan?? she even said that day that the colors would be lighter since im getting married in the dead of winter
i just dont want him to freak out when i walk down the aisle and think im wearing too much
