FH IS SAD ABOUT THE METS

So I suprised my Fh with tickets to todays final game at shea!! as most of you guys know they lost !!! he is really trying to stay tough but i can tell he is sad!!! There are pics in my album if you guys want to see the final game!!!

my boyfriend is a huge mets fan and we had a huge fight about it because he was at work so he kept calling me on his breaks for updates, and he called me at the bottom of the 9th, and i got excited when Easley hit that shot, and then i said 'oh, he caught it' and he goes 'fcuk you, you're an asshoIe, goodbye'. im a yankee fan, i didnt even have to watch the stupid game cuz my team is already out of it, but im a supportive girlfriend so i took time out of my day to watch the game for him.

he just called me to apologize though.

theres always next year (although i have to be honest, i think the new stadiums are going to bring nothing but bad luck to them)

I cried my eyes out !!!!!!! I love the METS !!!!!!!!! Growing up I used to go to so many games with my grandfather and those memories will live with me forever !!!!! I am not young like most of you out there... ( I am 41) so I have been around for a long time !!!!! And I tell you , the tears would not stop !!!!!!!! FH & I watched the game together .... how sad ........ well hopefully with the new stadium next year we have something to look forward too !!!!!!!! Until next year ... BYE BYE METS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS... it was so nice to see all the old timers out there !!!!!!!

Oh - I was at the last game too and it was so sad, not only that they lost when sooo could have won but when they had the closing ceremony and all. I have been going there for 27 years!! They are starting to tear it down now on MONDAY. since there won't be anymore games. But I did get to see Marc Antony from six rows away. . and Julia Stiles and Glenn Close - that was the only good news. .

I know my FH is soo upset!!! 2 years staight of the same thing!!! I was upset too but more upset that Shea is officially gone :( I had such great times there w/ FH

we r both upset and both said to one another leave me alone for the rest of the day lol..i grew up in a huge mets household so this is a really sad day for me

we were there yesterday...it really was sad...we both cried...didnt think i would....we went to the field shop and bought baby clothes.. fh said..we didnt have a child in time to bring him/her to Shea..so at least we will have an outfit from Shea that he/she can wear one day....LOL God I love this man...and he should love me cuz if god gives us a son...his middle name will be Shea....

I gave my condolences to my MOH who is a MAJOR mets fan, she didn't want to talk about it, but I feel bad for all of the met fans, it ***** to go home in October, as a yankee fan, I feel your pain!!!!!
