My FH isleaving tomorrow for Argentina. He will be gone for three weeks. He is going with his family (long story) I am kinda of excited so I will be alone for 3 weeks. Somethimes I just need that. I am excited about it. We have been together for a very long time and have been living together for 8 years already.
So he asked me if i will miss him and I told him no. then I told him I will maybe miss him after a week or so.. We have never been apart for so long.
He took it really bad. I feel upset because I made him upset but...
I was being honest..
Was I wrong???? Does anyone feel like that sometimes..

even though i like when we are apart sometimes i always miss him. maybe i am strange but i miss him when i am at work all day

Sometimes I like my alone time. But I might have lied and said yes anyway. LOL 3 weeks is a long time...I'd be ok for a week...but not sure about 3.

most of the time i miss him, but i guess sometimes when he is getting on my nerves i dont LOL. there are times when he is off from work during the week and all he does is call me at work and im like ughhhh go find something to do!!! lol..

i get the same way...FH hates it. I can be fine without him for a week or so but after that I start to miss him. But that is when i still talk to him everyday, if i wasnt able to talk to him I think i would miss him after 2 or 3 days.

I think everyone wants to feel like they mean so much to a person that without them, they'd be sad. I agree it's nice to have some time alone, but 3 weeks is a really long time so I'm sure while you don't feel it now, you will. maybe he just needed reassurance from you. You were just being honest. It's a tough spot to be in.
