I am soooooooooo annoyed. FH works for this stupid pizza company and hes the general manager. Everytime one of the store managers calls in sick or wants to go home sick FH has to go in and cover for them. I feel like we can never make plans to do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today we were gonna go see a movie after I finished cleaning my parents basement(thats where we live).
He had this girl from another store come in this morning because they were short so he had to drive 20 minutes to pick her up and then 20 minutes to take her back home at 4 so he didnt have to work this morning. When he went to the store at 4 to pick her up and take her home the night manager decided that he was sick and he needed to go home. So now FH is stuck working until 11 tonight.
Im so sick of this and though I know its not his fault I just took it out on him so bad on the phone.
I feel like i never see him he works all day and I go to school at night so the weekends are pretty much all we have together. Now I have to finish cleaning by myself and sit here alone all night. This is no fair. I hate his job!!!!!!

i totally understand... FH decided to take his vacation days with out asking me first and now hes off all the days im in school and im off the days hes working its soo annoying.. we NEVER see each other i go to school 830am-230pm i work sunday 9-3 and monday and tuesday 3pm-9pm
fh works wed-sunday 2pm-1030pm but its an hor travel each way.. but since i get up at 6 he never comes over.. so the only time i see him is sat morning till 1230... so im pissed that hes never home. and then my favorite..
i asked him to take off ONE friday so that we could do something for our anniversary.. and he said ok.. his SGT said its ok.. but he wont know if its def. till the wednesday of .. i have to buy tickets and their expensive.. so now i cant do anyhting for my anniversary im super pissed..
sorry i didnt mean to vent but i TOTALLY know how you feel!

Yeah its really annoying when you want to plan something isnt it?
I have spring break in 2 weeks and I want to go to niagara falls for 2 nights and now im scared to book it because what if something like this happens and i already spent $200 on a hotel room.
You know another thing that pisses me off while we are on the subject......he never takes the initative and plans something for us to do on his own. I laways ave to do EVERYTHING! Im in such a bad mood now......this ruined my whole day. Thanks all for listening to me!!!!!!! I love this site someone can always relate!

I know exactly how you feel! My FH works in network operations for a cell phone company, which basically means he makes sure all the cell phone towers are working and if theyre not, he has to go fix them. Its really a fantastic job...so many perks, makes really good money. Only bad thing is....hes just about always on call. So if something goes wrong, which happens all the time, he has to drop everything hes doing and go out to fix the tower. I mean, he gets paid really good OT when he has to go out off hours but it still ***** cause like you said, we can never make plans. So dont worry, youre not the only one going through this...im right there with ya!
