FH kills me...

On Saturday night I asked FMIL to let me know who she was interested in inviting to the wedding. I was starting to panic as we have a minimum a 75 and I couldnt think of 75 people to invite. So when all was said and done, I think our list came out to about 95 people. On sunday I asked FH is he okay if we end up going over 75 people and he told me he's going to disinvite people. I told him that he couldnt do that, and he told me I was crazy and he would do it.

I think he might be nuts!

well sorra! im glad to know u can have a rh with a 75 min. i was ready to just elope instead of having a wedding because neither of us have any family in the US.


invite the 95.. and if u dont meet your min.. u can always invite more. did u include vendors with your 75?

H ELL will freeze over before he uninvites someone. I told him, if you dont want someone there, don't invite them in the first place. If we go over we go over.

they did that on one of those wedding shows. i cant remember the name. i think my fair wedding or some crap that Jackie makes me watch with her all the time. the guy actually called people to make sure they were coming without a date. lol

just imagine UNINVITING (barb) someone ...

Invite about 30 more people. And you can have more than your minimum there? Is it a cost issue for you?

Its a cost issue. unless someone else is paying for the wedding for you, a wedding almost always is a losing proposition. we are having 75 people, if every person gives $100 (some will give less some will give more) at the end of the day we havent even paid for the reception hall.

but we are doing it because its what makes me happy. I wanted one day in my life to get dressed up and feel really special. I didnt have a sweet 16, I didnt go to prom and I was a 2nd class citizen at my brothers wedding.

i think we are going to end up under even if we invite over the min.

I think it's going to be harder and harder for people to come to weddings due to the economy.
