FH left and I'm sad

So FH has his bachelor party tomorrow in Atlantic City...his friends are picking him up tomorrow morning and they are driving down and spending the night.

Now, I am not worried about what will go on- I am just sad that he won't be around. I never thought I would feel this way, but I was almost in tears saying goodbye to him. I guess I am just worried about his friends and just making sure that FH doesn't get sick or anything. I guess I'm just a worrier!

I'll be spending the day with some girlfriends of mine, so hopefully I won't be worrying the entire day Anyone else get this way???

DH left last night to go upstate with his friends and wont be back until sunday late in the afternoon, I feel you girl. Ive missed him since he left

DH works overnight tonight & tomorrow night. SO I will not see him until Sunday.

We Miss each other at work. I'll be driving into work, Sad b/c I Miss him.

I never worry about DH and he is a Police Officer! I trust him and his judgement. No one makes him do anything he doesn't want to do. Hope you had a good day yesterday

I know how you feel! My FH travels for business all the time, and after more than 2 years together, I still get very sad when he leaves. We had been only dating for one week when he left for a whole week on business to Chicago, but what made it bearable was he called me 2-3 times a day! And he surprised me by coming to see me unannounced when he got home!!

He'll be going to Pittsburgh next weekend, and I'll go into 'blues' mode on Thursday night, when I know that Friday morning will be the last time I see him until Monday or Tuesday night. The worst is when he goes to Florida... between the drive there and back, it's like 10 days we're apart!!!! So I know the feeling!!!!! I still get teary before going to sleep each night he's away... and he doesn't know this, but sometimes after our 'goodnight' phone call, I'll cry myself to sleep! I guess it's a girl thing, and it's cathartic in a way.

What's great is that moment when you see each other again, it's like WOW, I MISSED YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! He says the same thing... it's like seeing each other for the first time again!! Something wonderful to look forward to!

Just keep yourself super busy and it should be ok! Hang out with your girls, come online to LIW, anything to distract you until he comes home!
