FH looking for work!

FH was let go today. his company was working with the city at a wastewater plant and the city decided not to renew the company's contract. so everyone on this project was let go. the company is trying to transfer him to another project but they are waiting on the DEP for approval. he has 10 years experience at 28 years old and a BS in environment studies so hopefully the DEP will do something.

he is so stressed about $ money i dunno how to make him feel better. i can cover the cost of stuff right now but he doesnt want to hear that even though we split the costs as it is

instead of telling him 'things will be fine' tell him ' we will figure it out togther'

words make all of the difference in the world.

Not to pry but was he at least awarded severance for some time? I am sorry to hear I am sure you are already by his side but just be even closer to him now for support. It is tough but you will both pull through

awww i'm sooo sorry! I hope it works out, I know it may seem hard right now but somtimes these things happen for a reason maybe he will find something he likes even better!!!

I've been there before! Fh was out of work twice throughout all this wedding planning. Things can be difficult at times, but work through it together. I hope he gets something soon

thankfully he was given 5 weeks severance so that he isnt worried about.


he woke up this morning and didnt have work so he read a book (he is like a speed reader, its insane) and came to wake me up. i was so worried i wasnt helping but he hugged me and thanked me for being so understanding and a great partner in this. i started to cry.

hopefully he'll find something soon more so for him self than for anything else
