FH made me cry

I have to give a little background for this story. My dad passed away 6 years ago and a couple of years after he passed away my mom gave me her engagement ring from my dad (they were already divorced for a while). I didn't want to use the ring to get engaged to FH because I wanted him to work to save up for my ring. The engagement ring from my dad was sitting in my jewelry box because I couldn't wear two engagement rings so I always talked about making the ring into a pendant so that I could wear it.

For Christmas FH surprised me and made the ring into a pendant with diamonds all around it. The diamond in the middle is the stone from my parents ring. It is beautiful! I am going to wear it as my DOJ so I have a piece of my dad with me on my wedding day.

Thank you so much girls! FH has been so wonderful and has made it so much easier to cope with my dad's death. I don't know what I would do without him. On my dads birthday this past August he went to the cemetery to 'ask' for my dads permission to marry me
