My FH was exactly the same way. Every song I thought might be good, he'd make a face like he would 'never dance to that'. He ended up choosing 'You'll Be In My Heart' by Phil Collins.

DH and his mom danced to 'Forever Young' by Rod Stewart, but the slower version. It was nice and didn't make DH throw up in his mouth either
