Does anyone have this problem? FH doesn't want to do to much of the planning thus far it has been me, moh, fsil doing everything!!! I hate to ask him a question about the wedding!! His concern is the after....the marriage. Which is important to me too..but we still need to plan.
Does anyone have a To Do List for the Grooms where I can give him a list of his dutie or decision that he needs to make. TIA

Here was my DH's to do list 1.Find a girlfriend 2.Date her for a few years 3.Propose to her. After the proposal he was pretty much done.

yeah, I hate when my gro... oh wait, that's me. sorry.
Most of us haven't thought this stuff out, and have no idea how much goes into planning a wedding ceremony. I certainly didn't until i started going on here. And we really don't have a lot of preferences, save for a bomb-a$$ party with great food, booze, music, dancing, and the people we care about. Plus, we're socialized with the idea that this is the bride's day, and that our opinion isn't that important anyway.
So, my advice would be twofold- let him know you know you care about and want his imput, and sit down with him to find out what he cares about in the ceremony and push him to work on that. Because I like music, food, and booze so much, i'll be working on diy stuff with that (play lists as I'm a big music nerd, doing menus if we're doing them, figuring out what alcohol is there). I also know about random tensions between people, so I'll be helping with seating charts... but stuff like linens, flower arrangements, not so much my thing.
Let him know you need his help, want his imput, and play to his interests/strengths.
