FH Occupation....(stole from 2010 board)

So on the 2010 board everyone is posting what their FH does for a living. So what do you say- we start the same thing but include what we do,

I know its kind of weird but I it was interesting!

I work as an executive assistant at a National Radio Advertising company in NYC. Good, steady job. Can't say I like it all the time but you can't be picky.

FI was in wood flooring (installation and repair). He works for both a private company and also freelance. My father has actually been getting him a lot of side work to help us make $$ to save for the wedding (thanks Dad ).

DUH I forgot this part...

I Work for Arizona Iced tea- I am an a/p manager for 4 of their distribution companies. I have been there since 2001 and really like it there. Not too stressful- even though I play with numbers all day.

FH works for Bloomberg LP- financial stuff which is stressful at times for him. I am jealous he works on Lexington Ave next to Bloomingdales!!!

I am going to school full-time right now and am currently in the process of looking for a part time job that will work around my school schedule, which has not been very easy!!!!

FH works in construction management.

I'm a Graphic Designer. Been working in design for 13 years. A lot of Freelance from home, but work 3 nights a week for a newspaper for something steady.

FH owns a business. Puppies, Grooming, Cute little dog clothes, etc.

I just graduated college and was looking for a teaching job. Being that it is the first day of school and I am playing on here, we all know how that went!

So currently I am administrative assitant at a small manufacturing company. It's not too stressful (usually) and I am in the process of talking to my boss to see if I can move from hourly to full time (wish me luck)!

FI works for North Shore LIJ Health System in their corporate office. He is a financial analyst. Also, he landscapes for his Dad's company on Saturdays.

Oh! Also, if this job ends up becoming full time, I am planning on looking into getting a part time tutoring job!

FH and I are both unemployed!! We are both in our 3rd year of medical school! Eventually we will have a job and pay back all these loans!!! I'm sooo thankful to have my parents that are paying for our whole wedding!

FH is an accountant for a small media marketing company (which has started to branch into entertainment- they produced Traveling Pants movies and Gossip Girl show).

Right now, I run a internist and Travel Medicine office, but HOPEFULLY will be starting the Physicians Assistant program at Downstate in June 2010.

THATS RIGHT- in the middle of a recession (and planning a wedding), I am quitting a completely stable job....but I gotta follow my dreams!

I'm currently working for Astoria Federal Savings while I'm going to grad school (not my ideal job but that's why I'm back in school)

My fiance, Jason, works as a pharmacy technician right now while he's getting ready to go back to school to become a teacher.

I am a client service rep for a large investment corporation, trying to hold onto my job by the grit of my teeth :( FH is a mechanic for Con Ed... Luckily we have 1 stable job

I work part- time for the Children's Aid Society. I guess you can say I'm a youth counselor. I'm also studying to become a certified medical transcriptionist.

FH is a sales consultant at PC Richard. He'd rather stay in sales than become manager because of commission.... I gotta love it. That's paying for a bulk of the wedding

The FH is a NYC firefighter in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn...Me I am a certified school psychologist who cannot find a position lol , so I bartend

IM A PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL IN DOWNTOWN ( I LOVE MY JOB) AND FH IS A SUPERVISOR FOR A INDUSTRIAL CLEANING COMPANY (HE HAS AWESOME BENEFITS THAT I WILL SOOON INHERIT LOL

I recently went back into the mortgage field as an underwriter while i finish my social work degree. I use to work as a vocational teacher at a rehab center but there is no money in this field unless you have your degree and this wedding is costing a pretty penny

FH is an IT professional. He works with an international company on the overnight shift so we dont see much of eachother. Plus he is also in school to get his computer science degree. He has wanted to do this for years and I am so happy he finally got the break he was looking for,
