How long was it before you met FH's parents?

just a few days - we were barely 15 when we started dating so we didnt have that many places to hang out

I think it was a month, looking back on it now I'm surprised I didn't run screaming the other way, that's not that long!

4 mos for me ... i wasn't rushing to meet parents and FH needed to stop at his house and there they were so i stayed for dinner. I found out later on it was a surprise for both me and his parents , they knew about me but FH didnt want the whole pressure thing, he wanted us both relaxed

about 1 month but I think thats only bc he was deploying to iraq....otherwise I think I would have waited

me and FH were friends for a few years before we started dating. All of our friends would hang out at his house... his parents were usually around.

Since I already knew them when we decided to start going out there really was no official meeting

we were 17 and 19 (now 23 and turning 26) so same thing,..!!

same thing...i was 14 and he was 15...lol and my mom would always say doesnt this kid ever go home and just last week she was talking to his mom--they are actually close where they call each other and see each other on their own--and she said to his mom 9 yrs later and we still cant get him to go home lol

He met my parents the night we met. (a friend brought him over to our house before we went out with a group of people) and I met his parents the following day (he was going back to college the following day, and his parents told him he had to spend the day home with them....but he wanted to spend the day with me, so we compromised)

I didn't meet fh's dad for 7months, but he lives in Florida and we had to wait till I was done teaching to visit. We were already living together at that time.

I met them right away because we had a house in Fire Island and I was driving out there every weekend. It was maybe 2 weeks after we started dating.

I met his parents after we were dating for like 2 years. The first time I met them was the first time I went 'home' with him to Hawaii. FH is from Hawaii. He went to school in NY. I went home with him two summers ago and stayed with his fam. for 10 days. I was thrown right in there.
