FH Pet Peeves

He can be so forgetful and he loses things like mad....he lost our credit card 3 times!!!

This is going to sound weird but FH kinda chews with his mouth open and totally over exaggerates the use of his tongue..... you have to see it... but take my word for it its
ANNOYING

Wow... would you like them in paragraph form or alphabetically? lol

1. Obsession with video games. It is SO annoying! He is ALWAYS playing.
2. He functions in his own world and doesn't take me into account naturally. (He'll just make plans without even running them by me)
3. He is not good at praising me for things. Sometimes its nice to have a cheerleader.

I think those are my top three.

This one is easy to answer...

The nasty ash tray that he always leaves arond on any random table. I HATE that he smokes!!

HAHA after those little posts it makes it seem like FH drives me NUTS more then SANE! haha. Faaar from the truth...but i'm a NEAT freak..and he's...well...a guy! HA

lol its funny bc dh is the neat freak. I am not a mess but just not OCD like he is. I do clean everyday and my one obsession is sanitizing things hahaha. But for him if things aren't the way he likes it, it drives him nuts. Like i said, i clean everyday and at least once a week do a very thorough cleaning. But theres certain things i just dont do, one big thing for him is his closet. His hangers all have to face the same way, some shirts require 2 hangers. Not only hangers but all the shirts have to face the same way, like front of the shirt facing towards right of the closet. Everything is coordinated by specific categories. Shirts have to be folded an EXACT way, not an inch shorter or longer . I like things neat and no dust lol but my closet is not that organized. I dont care which way my hangers face, which way my shirts are facing and there is no specific order, they go wherever i reach to put it lol. Its not bad bc he is so OCD and prefers to handle those things himself.

its funny bc reading your post above i just pictured my dh being frustrated with how i hang things. Sometimes to mess with him, i go in his closet and rearrange things i find it so entertaining but its funny bc the second he opens his closet he will notice it right away.

I just got out of the shower and it reminded me of another one! He always points the shower head right at the shower door when he gets out for SOME REASON! Every time I open up the shower door, the water hits me and then goes all over the floor! I tell him this at least once a week and he 'forgot' again tonight! Grrrrr.......

OMG thats so funny, i always thought it was just my DH who did this. I dont understand what he does bc the way he moves the showerhead makes no sense bc the water doesnt hit you its hitting the wall. Everytime i get in the shower it drives me nuts. Oh yeah and we have a stand up shower, you pull the door to get in and then pull it in gently to close it, i wanna kill him bc hes gonna break the door soon, when he gets out he doesnt just push it shut he pushes it PAST the point its supposed to be, and goes past the rubber part on the end of the glass it attaches to, so in order to open the shower door when i get in i have to yank it open. I dont know if i explained it right but hes breaking the shower door

FH needs to be playing sports alllllways.... he just finished his softball season, is in the playoffs for his roller hockey team and today was his first day of football camp (he's a coach.) And in the winter he plays ice hockey, spring he coaches baseball.

Luckily I like sports too... just not THAT much!

My dh is always playing sports too. And hes not even done with softball, he also plays snowflake leagues so will play softball until november. And he just doesnt play for 1 softball team, he plays for like 3-4 teams. Then during the winter he plays football. Theres a short break and then softball starts again.

I dont mind most of the time, i like him playing sports and staying active and i know how happy it makes him. Just sometimes theres something we have to do or something i want to do but NO he has softball. And of course if hes not playing it hes watching it or online doing fantasy, that part doesnt bother me bc were in the same room when hes on the computer or im on the computer and were right next to eachother still talking and hanging out. I do the same when im on LIW, ill be posting but hes sitting on the bed next to me and were still talking and stuff

Def when he grinds his teeth and cracks his neck - that sound drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!

forgot one...Fantasy Football....he's obsessed!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're saying about softball. Thank God his team was out of the playoffs before we went on vacation - I think he would have had to take a different flight to meet me in Florida! I keep getting reminded that Snowflake starts in 2 weeks. Woo - hoo!

Does your dh play in the concrete leagues in early spring? That's the worst! Sometimes there's a foot of snow on the ground and they still play. And of course I still go to the games since I'm the score keeper. Ahh, the things we do for love!

FH has horrible short term memory and that annoys me so much! like he told his friend we were registered at SEARS (no offense to the girls who did register there, but we never shop there...and he was there with me at MACYS)

FH also farts way too much..he thinks its like some kinda joke, its actually disgusting and makes the sheets smell, i change them like every 3 days

hes just so annoying!

we are both neat freaks but when it comes to hanging up the towel after the shower to dry he hangs it over the glass shower doors rather then the hook & it drives me crazy! Its now a running joke between us. he also loves to leave bar soap on the soap dish outside of teh shower ugh i hate that im liek bar soap goes in the covered cases in the shower!!!! I think i finally got him used to that. lol

My father and brother are HUGE in old cars...went to all the car shows on long island...
I still have two of my dad's cars... and my brother misses his dart sooo much! LOL

HAahaha...that's soo funny! That's something I would do too! Right now I really don't have the chance to do taht b/c all his clothes are in MY closet... he basically lives with me, but he doesn't consider it HIS house yet... soo...when we move out I will be able to mess with him in other ways. It's soo much fun! LOL

Vins team WAS in the playoffs! Im sure its the same league... His team went i think 26-0 but then this other GRIMY ASSS team broke out players who they never seen the whole season and beat their assesss that way.... I was even more pissed about it than he was bc i hate people that play dirty!

HA! Oooo this is good!

1. He has wayyyyyyyyyyyy to many bottles of cologne, like 40. Seriously it looks like the Bloomingdales counter.... and it makes me mad when he buys new ones.

2. He takes his shoes off right in the middle of the room... like where ever is the main place to walk in that room...his shoes are there. I trip over them all the time!

he's kind of obsessed with MMA and the UFC and i hate it. ugh, whenever he's in front of the television while the fights are on it's like i don't exist.

this is how our conversation went the other day:
me- 'hey, jim what do you want for dinner?'
FH- no response
me 2 minutes later: 'hey jim, what do you want for dinner?'
FH- 'i have to pee'
