FH Plan On Wearing His Ring?

So my FH doesn't think he's going to wear his ring after we get married...so I'm doing a poll...

anyone else have this experience? I'm trying to find a nice ring for him- looking at Celtic stuff that is interesting but not too busy.

::Sigh:: DH and I argued about this.

He would take his ring off at work and it hurt my feelings. But he does manual labor and while the ring is still fine, he doesn't want to mess it up or hurt his hand while wearing it. I said fine, but I'd REALLY like for him to wear it on the weekends and when he gets home. For the most part, he does. Oh well!

DH got a tungsten ring so he can wear it all the time and not worry about it getting all scratched up or bent when he's at work, he wears it everyday

Well, my FH is an accountant....so he better wear his ring lol.

But, i can see people not wearing it because of work. I doubt i'll wear mine, i already don't wear my ERing cause i'm so scared it will be stolen or i will throw it out in the trash when i take off my gloves...about 20 times a day.

Tattoos are a cute idea, but i've seen them done very poorly...its something to consider.

I would be very upset if my FH didnt want to wear his ring.

I can understand why some men dont because of their jobs.

No however we did everything the non-traditional way, i also barely wear my ring bc I hate having such expensive jewelery on me. (I have a bad habit of losing nice jewelery). It doesnt bother me bc whether or not a guy has a wedding band on or not doesnt make girls hitting on them change their mind lol. But I think we are gonna look at getting tattoos on our ring finger.

DH wears his all the time.
This was a big topic of conversation because my brother does not wear his wedding band & my SIL gets so pissed off. But my brother is a welder & when he first got married he almost welded his ring to a piece of metal & almost lost his finger.
So I have told DH that if he ever has a job where wearing his ring could result in him getting hurt or easily loosing it (it was rather expensive), I completely understand if he does not wear it to work.

FH and I have argued about this already! He says that he doesn't want to wear a ring because he doesn't like how rings look on his finger. I think he doesn't want to wear it because his older brother and cousins who he always hangs out with and has been married for years don't wear a ring. I finally got him to agree to try some rings on but the next battle is getting him to wear it! I may suggest the ring tattoo because it does sound cute and I am a huge fan of tattoos...

He'll probably only wear it when we go out somewhere. He NEVER wears jewelry and he works with his hands and when hes not working hes doing yard work or fixing something in our house. I don't mind as long as he wears it when we go out together.
