FH rant

i try not to rant about him on here.. cause i love him dearly but this wedding thing.. he has no clue about~!!!

if it were up to him we'd be getting married in his mom's backyard and serve bbq ribs LOL

so today im talking to him about dj's and photo/videographer

you know what he said... do we reallly need a photographer and videographer.. how many times are we really going to look at the pictures!!!!!


i said well you call your mom and tell her she'll have no professional pics

then he got it!

They really don't mine asked why do we have to feed the vendors????

well i wouldnt agree to forgo with the photo and video, but i know for myself, i'll spend days on end loooking at the pics and video... then months n years will go by and they'll be collecting dust somewhere

omg our FH is the same person!!! hes like do we need flowers?? im like ***, idiot??? needless to say we will have flowers

I think all guys are like that. Sometimes you have to explain things over and over again to them.

Want to trade FH's? I would have a bbq in the backyard in a second... my FH is the one that wanted all the normal wedding stuff...

(but I have to admit it did start to become obsessed with it myself after planning)

Do what he did to me! Just remind him it means alot to you etc.. He will get it soon enough.

And then one day you will be doing a clean up of all the ol dstuff to toss & come across it & look at it all over again. And this iwll happen several times in your lifetime!

Its so funny because last night at my moms house we found my old basketball binder. I had newspaper clippings photo's etc in it & we went through all over again. Even my brother who was there wanted to look through it. It was so cool.

my fh does this all the time. At first I didn't want a video but after seeing my friends from her wedding I must have one. He's like ohh one of our friends will do it. And i'm like . They just don't understand!

haha.. i totaly agree! My FH is clueless when it comes to nething n everything about the wedding~! i try to jst smile n ignore but it gets frustrating when he just dosnt get it!

very good point. Also your kids will LOOOVE looking at all this. I love looking at my parents wedding pics. I cant wait to show our own kids and for them to see our video even more, to be able to actually watch us exchanging vows and hearing it. And watch us dancing our first dance and seeing how it all happened exactly that day. I wish i had video of my parents wedding.

Silly boys, sometimes you have to sit them down, look them in the eye and SHAKE SOME SENSE into them!!! I feel you, FH asked me if he could wear a silver tux I think a drop kick icon is a fabulous idea and one whose time has come!!!
