FH ruined my surprise.

I posted yesterday that I secretly booked a night at the Tropicana--- I gave FH a 'pack list', but didn't tell him where we're going.

Last night, I was at his house.... I went into the bathroom, and came out to find him rummaging through my purse looking for information!

I had the piece of paper with the hotel # and my confirmation # in there, and he saw everything.

I'm so mad at him! He couldn't wait a friggen WEEK?!?! The suspense was killing him.

I guess this is why my proposal had no element of surprise to it whatsoever...he couldn't bear the keep a secret from HIMSELF!!!

Aww.. Why would he do that?? Sorry hun. Some people just dont like suprises, I guess.

aww sorry! that stinks! My fh is the same way...he willsay to me do you want to know what i bought you for your bday ..i was liek NO NO NOOOOO he can never keep a suprise . The day of my bday he calls and says i will be late coming home i have to pick up a suprise for you

lol then again i'm usually the one that will also try to find out what the surprise is, but he did manage to surprise on the one year anniversary of when we got engaged he took me back to the same spot he proposed and had a picnic for us :)

I am so sorry that happened. Maybe he will make it up to you somehow.

I am usually the one who can't handle the suspense of a surprise. FH can. But there is one cardinal rule. NEVER GO THROUGH A WOMAN'S POCKETBOOK! That would have bothered me the most.

eh, he does it all the time. I carry so much of his crap for him, because he won't carry a manpurse.

Chapstick, wallet, keys, etc.

Seriously, the trip was booked for no more than 24 hours before he ruined it. How pathetic!

I'm the same way as your FH - In theory I love surprises but I totally will snoop around to try to figure them out. FH knows it too and he is always sure to delete his website history on his comp and things like that - no trust I tell ya

Sorry this happened Nicole. I'm the one in our relationship that doesn't like surprises.

I'm sure it will still be a great trip.

I'm sure he'd have an idea as soon as you started down the Jersey turnpike.

Btw, I carry all his stuff in my purse also: keys, cigs, chapstick, etc.

I stayed at the Tropicana in Feb. It was my first time there. They just re-did it and they have the Havana Quaters..it is soooo nice.. they have great shops, some are high end and a bit pricey, and others have great stuff! The restaurants are great! They have The Palm, Carmines, Red Square and a few others.
There is a really nice Cuban restaurant that I wanted to go to, but we went to The Palm instead. They had a cool bar and dancing at night!

Aww, sorry Nic!! But you know it'll still be a great trip!!! Now you should make him buy you something pretty for ruining the surprise on you!!

Lol, I need to get a bigger purse to hold all his stuff plus my own!! He admits he needs his own 'man's handbag'.
