About 6 months after we started dating, FH and I were driving somewhere and talking about this couple we know and how they were a good couple. FH said something about it's even better because each of them wouldn't be able to do any better in the partner department. THEN he said 'Take us for example...both us could probably do better.' Needless to say, that didn't go over very well and he almost got his a$$ dumped. He said something about trying to pay me a compliment. Sigh...

dont you find it funny when they think they are paying you a compliment but youre sitting there like W** thats not a compliment. Then they look at you thinking what they did wrong. My dh has done this quite a few times
