My fiance told me about that--I don't believe it, though, not with the details he told me. No doctor would induce labor in a woman who wasn't overdue. A woman might schedule a C-section so he could go to a game, if she was already going to schedule one. But inducing labor? It's really hard on the woman, and not something they go into lightly. They were probably going to do it anyway, and she chose that day so he could go to the game. Which isn't exactly the same thing.

Men.

I would kick his *ss for even asking!!!! I already joke around w/ FH that when I get pregnant we'll have to schedule my due date for somewhere in between the end of football season and the beginning of baseball.....but then again he watches hockey.....so basically I'm screwed!!!!!

Sports is ALWAYS an issue with FH and I...currently we have a Yankee game the day of my niece's communion and FH THINKS he has a way out. RIGHT! As if!!!

I'm still amazed we are getting married on a day of a Yankee game at HOME! We have a Saturday ticket package, so we're totally missing it! Figures there had to be a home game the day of our wedding. Our friends in the bleachers will be thinking of us on our wedding day!

Inducing labor though? NEVER! Priorities in life, people!! Lordy!!

Although when planning this wedding I knew, NEVER EVER on a Sunday or during NFL playoffs - or in October for that matter.
