FH - The Perfect Tonic

FH - The Perfect Tonic

I had a super stressful day. Just... well, if you want details you can read my earlier post. I got out of work and got gas and called FH and told him I didn't think I would have time to make anything for dinner becuase I had to get to the school for our son's P.I.N. He told me not to sweat it, he would find something for the kids to eat. So I raced right to the stores, then to the school, got gas and got home.

Now - let me just say - FH can't cook a single thing. NADA. Each experiment has ended in disasters such as 'THE egg' (tried to boil an egg and boiled it so long the water EVAPORATED or 'The Crunchy Spaghetti'(I think you can figure that one out). There was also his near death encounter with a barbecue grill and a frozen hamburger... I still shudder when I think about it!

Anyway... I get home and Rob has made me dinner! Okay - dinner was a PB&J with an ice cold glass of milk and a handful of goldfish pretzels... but MAN was it good! Especially after such an awful day.

He also laid out the boys clothes for tomorrow, helped them to check off everything on their chore charts and made their lunches for tomorrow! Now he is bathing them and getting them ready for bed. He told me to relax and do whatever I wanted/needed to do.

I feel like crying because I am sooo grateful and happy right now!

I love him.

go ahead... laugh, cry, thank god.

then take a deep breath, and let him know how much you love him. after that, do whatever you want.

you see... god is good. pb&j and a cold glass of milk can be a WONDERFUL THING

i'm happy your day ended on a different note

HEY! Who gave your FH my famous, world secret crunchy spaghetti recipe? I can't cook either...I'm trying to learn though!

I meant 'world famous and secret' which doesn't make sense anyway. I guess I can't tell a joke either
