Last night FH were shopping and saw this great tie that has our colors on it. He wants to wear it for the wedding. I dont care one bit but is it ok to wear with the tux. Do you have to wear the tux tie?? He wants to wear a black tux with the white vest and then the tie (i posted pics). What do you think??
i don't see why not.. who's gonna tell him no.. i think its a cute way to incorporate the colors into your wedding..

I say do whatever you guys want, there is no wrong or right in my opinion. I think it would be adorable to add little touches like that and get a little away from the 'Norm'

That would be really nice. And you can pick out one of the color's from the tie for the groomsmen to wear.

That's awesome you found a tie that matches the colors....my only suggestion would be to maybe wear a dark gray tux instead of black. I think it might look better together. But dont worry about etiquette or what the 'norm' is...if you both like the way it looks, then great.

Maybe even take it with you to the Tux shop and see if they have an idea on what color vest to put with it.
