FH wants to add 3 groomsmen... NOW

FH wants to add 3 groomsmen... NOW

FH has a 'best friend' who basically disappeared a few months before we got engaged. He also has two other friends, also close with the BF who weren't around. He just reconnected with them (barely) at a wedding two months ago and has seen the 3 of them twice over the summer. These guys should have been GM, but they did not return his calls and claimed, after the fact, to be busy in their own lives. Now, a month and a half before the wedding, FH wants to invite them to be in the wedding. This would bring his BP up to 9! and me at 6. Plus, it'll screw up our limo situation since their is no room for them. What do you think? Should I go along with this?

Honestly, you're wedding is so close and if you're FH adds 3 more groosmen that is going to add A LOT of stress. As we all know wedding planning is stressful enough and by adding 3 new people it's only going to make it a lot harder for you and FH...don't even bother...not now, your BIG day is practically here already.

If he wants to just invite them to the wedding, then thats fine. But having them as groomsmen? No, its too late and think of the $ you guys would have to spend on them? Thats another 3 gifts, another 3 people at the RD..
For people who he just reconnected with, and has only seen a few times lately an invite to the wedding should be enough.

They were all invited. Last time we hung out with these guys, one cornered me and asked me who he was walking down the aisle with. I was so confused!! I said, 'I don't know what you're talking about!' and he said, 'I know I'm in it, who's my partner'. I just gave him a blank stare and excused myself to go tell FH!
