OK - soo I fell in love with BYC and took FH there and he said he loved it as well, we have not booked it just yet because i felt it was to early and that we would do it soon.
Now he is telling me he wants to look at other places, and that we should comparison shop ??? I was receptive to his opinions at 1st but now I feel like he is just being stingy. What The $##* ? I gave him two tasks look for HM packages and Limo quotes - but hes looking up this stuff instead unbelivable!

Re: FH Wants to change halls
Just because you gave him those two tasks to do doesn't mean that he can't be involved in anything else. If you are really getting married in 2006, I would certainly not lock yourself into anything this early. What harm would it be to look around? Perhaps you'll find another place that you love as much, if not more. And if FH is not entirely happy with the place, do you want him to feel like he is settling? You both have to want this. JMO

Re: FH Wants to change halls
I just feel like I do the leg work and he just vetos stuff. I have toatlly researched and really liked this place I asked him what the problem is and he said the price - which I think is super reasonable, he dosent know hall prices from adam.
ets true I agree I dont want to lock us into anything right now either - just easier to save when you know how much you need to save.

Re: FH Wants to change halls
You said that he's doing research on this now, right? Sounds like he's doing some legwork. Let him find things that are cheaper, and compare them - atmosphere, decor, what kind and amount of food you get, services they provide, etc., and if the price and place is right, he'll see that. Try not to stress too much over it. You have time to change your mind 12 times before you book.

I think as long as HE is doing the legwork now - you should at least just hear him out. Like jannshari said - compare the halls to the one you picked on all levels. You might be suprised and find someplace else you love.
