my mom works in the 1st in suffolk i wonder if they know each other.. she does all the paperwork and stuff..

and FH is in NYPD 113. were praying to GOD that he gets into suffolk or nassaus next class

Wow so we have a lot of officers! Fh used to be in the NYPD (and he had an awesome time...had some great arrests and even met some celebs like Keanu Reeves and Howard Stern...haha)

Anyway...he loved it there. The guys in the NYPD become close. Which is awesome for them..since they go through so much together.

Fh is in the academy now in Nassau and he is getting his butt kicked. He runs like 3 miles a day and comes home cranky...lol. I would too though...I don't even run 1 mile a week..lol.

Anyway..Best of luck to you and your FH's. Tell them to be safe!

i am trying to convice fh to take the test for suffolk but he isn't sure he wants to.

Tell him to take the test because it is only offered every 4 years! If he gets called he has a choice to say yes or no. And if he is unsure he can take himself off the list and has 1 year to get put back on. That is what my FH did.

When he was called for Nassau it was the first day he started to work for the NYPD. If he would have stopped working he wouldnt have gotten his job back.

So he took himself off the list for 1 year and then put it back on...and processing takes up to 1 year anyways to get through. By 2 1/2 years my FH left NYPD and started Nassau

So long story short...tell him to take it anyways! haha
