FH...really?!?! have you lost your mind!?!?! vent

FH just calls me at work...
he wanted to tell me he got the offer to split a package of season tickets to the Yankee games. It would cost him $1800 for 20 games.
is it me or is he f*n insane?!?!? we have a wedding to pay for and a honeymoon to pay for.
I cant believe he even had to call me to see what i thought about this

We decided not to do holiday gifts this year because we want to save...and he still owes me a birthday gift (from Sept) because we are paying off debt (his debt). so i told him i dont want a gift til we are debt free....and he has the audacity to call me about Yankee tickets

tell him if he does that then you are going to buy an $1800 bag or pair of shoes and she how quickly he rethinks this 'gift' to himself lol

it seems like he knows you guys can't afford it being that he called you to tell you/ask you. there is def an underlying feeling of 'will you beat my butt in if i do this?'

after i said....'really this is why you are bothering me at work? is this even a serious conversation you expect to have?!?!' he said he knew the answer but wanted to be sure there was no way to work it in the budget and he just needed the definite no from me.

well honey i am happy go give you the big fat no you wanted!!! shoulda hung up on him lol

sun we went to Target bc he wanted lights for the house..yeah xmas is in how many days and NOW you wanna put up lights? anyway he proceeded to buy himself jeans and t shirts and then freaked out over the $. HUGE fight ensued w me almost throwing my drink in his face. he had to grab the glass. then i burst into tears.
