Re: FHs company christmas party tonight at windows on the lake!!

OK....so dont be mad lol......I wasn't thrilled but it could be the fact that it was a weekday...........

first off the place is soooooooooooooo nice! the inside is very pretty as well as outside. The room we were in ( rainbow) was really cute there us a sky painted on the ceiling and they had green lights on it that made it look like stars lol really cute!

Most of the staff was very pleasent, tho0 there were a few by the buffet that were joking around a little too much for my liking at a party. and the fact that i heard one of the guys cursing whie they were talking with another girl ( not mean just joking around) but still cursing in front of guest witch i didnt like......

we had a buffet dinner the food eas pretty good...the only complint i had was that the penne in the penne ala vodka wasnt cooked enough..it was kinda hard

the bartender made great drinks!!! lol so it wasnt horrible but i wasnt thrilled with it either....i am sure sit down dinners are much better than buffet style and the cursing probobly doesnt happen on a regualr basis so i think you girls who are booked there should be fine.

sorry if my review was too honest but like i said id tell u what i thought.

Re: FHs company christmas party tonight at windows on the lake!!

Thanks for the honesty!!!!

I've had their penne twice and both times i've looooooooooved it. Maybe it was an off night.

As far as the waiters cursing, maybe they were laid back b/c it wasn't a wedding?

Hope you had fun though!

Was there a DJ?

Re: FHs company christmas party tonight at windows on the lake!!

we did have fun...i dont know who the DJ was but he wasnt very good lol he started calling tables to the buffet then someone brought him food and he forgot to call everyone else.....he did a little too mcuh mixing of songs instead of just playing a regular song... i didnt really dance cause i cant with my knee but everyone else seemed to have fun on the dance floor!

Yeah i think they were a little more laid back since it wasnt a wedding and it was on a weeknight but it still bothered me. I am sure weddings are much better

im not one of those people who are gonan say it was fantastic just to make people happy lol hope i dont get anyone mad...i just thoguht it was gonna be much better thats why i posted taht i was going and would give a review lol

Well i'm not having buffet, so I dont have to worry about that
ETA: No i'm glad you were honest. I want to hear all about it even if its not a wedding.
