My FH is letting FMIL choose the song but she is clueless! She originally wanted 'Wind Beneath my Wings' but that is so cliche and overdone. FSIL and I were trying to convince her to pick something else. If FH had his way, they'd be dancing to Ozzie Osbourne's 'Mama I'm Coming Home' - PLEASE HELP

I think that 'Because You Loved Me' by Celine Dion is a great song. 'Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban seems to be a popular one too.

DH chose Memories by Elvis Presley for his dance with his mom; she was a big Elvis fan.
it was very sweet and I liked that it wasn't so common.

I LOVE this song too! FSIL and I were trying to get FMIL to choose it, but she decided it's too fast for them to dance to FSIL and I even started slow dancing around the kitchen to prove it wasn't too fast but FMIL wasn't having it LOL!

DH used 'I'll Always Love My Mama' by the Intruders. It was so cute and good for them b/c it was more up tempo so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable since they don't like attention usually.

I was going to do 'my little girl' I LOVE that song! But then I chose 'I loved her first' by heartland because that song is exactly what my dad was like with me when I was born and the last line of the song just gets me right in my heart
