Over the weekend, on of FH's friend's says to him, 'So, you all ready dude? Big day is coming up soon, like 2 weeks right?'
FH says, 'ummm no, like 5 weeks, but we're getting there, almost done with everything.'
The friend says, 'No, it's about 2 weeks, the 13th.'
FH, 'No dude, the 30th.'
Friend, 'What are you talking about, the invite says 'thirteenth.' I took off from work and everything!'
FH, 'No, the invite says, 'THIRTIETH.' Check it again man!'
Just as a side note: Oct. 13th is a Wednesday.

Something similar happened to my sister (Cookie) 3 different people called (all friends) asking why is the wedding on a Wednesday, they read the Thirtieth as 13th

That is so strange!!! I guess its pretty common, but don't you think that after they look at the calendar, see its on a wednesday they would look again, more closely....
