FH's job vent

Fh gchats me at 4 pm that he might have to go to MD tonight. 10 minutes later he calls me on the phone, which I knew meant he was going. I was pissed to begin with, because who gives someone less then an hour notice that they have to go to another state. So I was like 'what airport are you leaving from?' and then he told me he had to drive down there. He just left the house about 20 minutes ago. I swear that no one at his job has any respect or consideration for anyone. They are just so rude. He has to drive all the way down there tonight. Once he gets there he has to go to a clients, hook up some electronic device and let it sinc overnight. When it is done in the morning, he can drive back to NY.
I know I should be thankful that he has a job, but his company is doing extremely well (he is in IT). They had a 7 figure deal earlier this year, another one starting in a few months, and are having a huge holiday party this weekend, including casino night. FH just got a raise yesterday which was more then just cost of living, which I was pretty happy about, until this. He gets paid salary so things like this (working until the wee hours of the morning/night-which happen often) he doesn't get paid for.
Everytime FH and I are apart I cry when one of us leaves. I couldn't even cry tonight when he left because I was so mad. Sorry, I just needed to vent, so I don't go over to his job to give someone a piece of my mind.
