Did you guys buy your FH's ring yet? Will you be buying it with him or alone? DId you pick it out youself or he already knew what he wanted? Are you getting anything engraved on it?
Where did you guys go shopping for his ring? I want to start looking soon so I wanted to get some ideas. Thanks.

We were just talking about this. We are going to go looking in a few weeks. We plan on going together. Not sure of any details about where or what kind of rings yet!

me and FH bought our rings about a week ago.
we went together and picked out our rings together. we got somewhat matching ones..
this is mine:
and this is his:
we each got eachothers names and our wedding date engraved on the inside.

our rings are a matching set...but mine has diamonds - where his is plain... I think there's something romantic to having a matching ring.

We're going back to the jeweler in the diamond district that made my engagement ring. We'll get my band to match my e-ring and his band made there as well.

FH bought my e-ring in Kay.. and really wanted to go back there. he insisted. so we looked around to get ideas of what we wanted and ended up going back there for the final purchase.
i already knew what i wanted .. so it was easy.

haven't bought it yet, but yeah he will probably come with me to get it...he doesnt wear any jewelry so i know he will probably be picky about it

we bought his already ... i picked it out but i took him back with me to buy it ... i love it .. we have matching ones ... there not exact pictures of the ring but this is what they look like
FH knows a great jeweler - so we will pick out our rings together - the jeweler told us to call him about 6 months before the wedding to start looking.

We are picking them out together. Mine is being made by the guy who did my e-ring. He will help us get FH's too and my plain band (yes I am getting two)!

When we looked in Macy's about a month ago, they recommended you wait until its closer to the holidays and they're running their Family and Friend promotion. I don't know exactly when that is though.
They usually don't discount jewlery any other time than the sale.
