His son is going to be 12 at our wedding. Originally we said for him to be the ring bearer-but I think he may be too old and big for that. Whats another position that he can have that will make him feel important?

John (marrymybestfriend aka CloudNine's FH) is having his two sons as Jr Best Men. I think its a REALLY really really cute idea. It gives more of a special title.

He doesnt have to be matched with a girl?? we werent even going to have a bridal party but I think we may have a small one. so like 2 guys 2 girls plus moh n bm. would that work with him not being matched with someone??

Not at all. its the same as having an uneven BP...which is very common.

like the others said, we are having his sons be junior BM..they will be 4 and 6 at the time of the wedding and obviously cannot fill the shoes of a best man but they are his sons so we waned them up at the alter with him.
i think we are gonna have them walk down the aisle in the very beginning before the BP and stand by him while everyone else walks down. they will then sit down with the family duringthe ceremony (his other best men will stand by him for the remainder of the ceremony)
we are also adding something into the ceremony to recognize the blending of a family. we may be getting pendants as well that will be given out to his 2 boys during this portion of the ceremony.

FH's little brother is Co-Best Man/Jr. GM... we told him he could give FH the rings instead of the Best Man... He told everyone and seems really excited about it

I think a jr gm or jr bm is a great idea. It won't matter if he can't match up with someone.
