we both got gold bands
i agree that i find stainless steel a bit weird, but apparently they're very popular!

Re: Fh's wedding bands?
My DH's wedding band is tungsten carbide. It's a metal that doesn't scratch no matter what happens to it. He loves it. And I loved it too cause it was cheap! Here's a pic of his ring, but just like anything, they have all different styles to choose from.

Re: Fh's wedding bands?
I don't have a pic but FH is platinum and yellow gold. The yellow gold borders each side of the ring in a very thin strip. You can't even really see it unless you look at closeup. We got a good deal at fortuoff's oh his but are getting mine made by the jewler that made my ering

Re: Fh's wedding bands?
I had to return his ring even though we loved it (it was defective), so we need a new one. But it was platinum. My FH says that he wants his first piece of jewelry to be expensive

We got DH's tungsten ring from our local jewler who we get all of our jewlery from. I live in Milwaukee though so that probably doesnt help you very much. I think you can order them from almost any jewlery store though. We only paid $200 for his band. Great price for a great ring. I dont remember if titanium scratches or not, but the big difference between titanium and tungsten is the weight. Titanium is much lighter than any other rings out there, and tungsten is much heavier than any rings out there. DH was going back and forth between the two for a while and ultimately decided on the tungsten cause he liked that it was heavier and that it doesn't scratch. HTH.
