We prob wont do gifts since we spent so much. our gifts to eachother is our honeymoon .. But i always wanted this..

He got me the engagement ring...we're both paying toward the wedding, him a little more than me (he makes more, that's why)...if anything at this point I feel like I should be getting him a gift. If the budget allows for it, I'll be getting him something...maybe B-pics; we'll see.
I don't want him to get me anything though. He's spent so much on his own between the ring, the photography, deposit on the hall.

Its just pretty much us two paying for the wedding, so I dont think it will make any sense to get each other anything. If he gets me a card I will happy! I am thinking of getting him some inexpensive personalized boxers to make him laugh before the we see each other for the ceremony.

Well he bought me my DOJ earrings for my birthday, and of course my e-ring, and soon our wedding bands. I don't expect him to buy me anything, and honestly, I doubt he'll even think of it, lol. Honestly, if he buys me anything, I'd really just want it to be simple and sweet......I would actually LOVE a card from him.......just a card. He hasn't bought me a card since 2001.

I am perfect world...one where I was not in severe debt....I would have FH buy me a tennis braclet, and I would buy him a Breitling watch.... doesnt look like we will be exchanging gifts...but that is ok, because we are splurging on our dream honeymoon.

DH got me too much Louis Vuitton! It was TOO much!! He kept saying 'But it's your wedding! It's once in a lifetime!'
No offense to anyone I think its an over the top tradition that has not adapted to the times. With the way everything costs these days I think its crazy to have to buy each other a gift. I mean isn't the wedding and the honeymoon our gift to ourselves? Anything to get people to spend money. I think a card is just perfect...

I really want a sapphire and diamond ring..I love jewelery and its something ill pass down..plus I remember everything he ever bought me jewelery for..and he's getting me to cook and clean for him for the rest of his life..I deserve an extra lil bling

I don't want a gift from FH, he is contributing more towards the wedding (because he can) and that is the best gift he can give me. I am giving him some small gifts that he doesn't know about and I also did b-pics as a gift and I'm surprising him with a groom's cake during the reception.
