Does FH have any wedding jobs or are you planning everything? We are planning everything together but he's the main point of contact for the church and band and of course picking out tuxes. I have everything else.

videographer

DJ

He also gives me feedback on the BM dresses I pick :

ETA: Every decision we make is together, if I try and make one with out his feeback his feelings get hurt!

We definitely have been going to different vendors together, but I am the one who calls and makes all the appointsments. He has also come to a few bridal shows with me. The one job that I have given him is the limos. All my experiences with limo companies have been nightmares, so that is all him.

Tuxes
Wedding Rings
DJ ( he is taking over after I had to fire our first one!!!)

Everything else will be me but with FH helping to make the decision.

DH was in charge of the DJ of course and the Tuxes.

We do everything together for the most part except flowers...(I am doing those with my BM's)
He does want to be in charge of the tuxes.

His jobs are the limos (which he did), tuxs, honeymoon(he is researching), his groomsmen gifts, and videographer. (we have appts this week.
I have to say I am proud of him, he is doing a Great job.

We've been working together I called the church and booked that, he went to the catering hall and made the first payment. My brother is handling video and photog so we don't have anything to do with that. We did the DJ together, so pretty much everything we are working on together except my dress and the bm's dresses. I'm sure he also won't show much intrest in flowers

I go call and make the appt with the vendors, he comes and gives his input...but I end up making the final decisions because he would rather I did, since he feels that I am mainly 'in charge' of the wedding arrangements, plus I am picky...lol. Flowers I am going to look into myself and he is looking foward to booking limos and the tuxes. He does give me his advice on some things and leaves other things up to me.

I do most of the researching, and he gives his opinion. One of my best friends is a BM (in NJ) and she's been giving me a lot of advice about dif. vendors, etc. FH randomly comes up with ideas, though his largest contribution is : absolutely no pink, lol. We decide everything together, though.

we're doing everything together but he'll probably be the main contact for the tuxes...i'm the contact for everything else..i may let him be the contact person for the honeymoon...but we'll see

He can't do anything wedding related without me because
A: He doesn't know what he's doing and therefore
B: He's scared to f*ck anything up!

He is however paying for the DJ and the officiant and my hair and makeup.

Same here. FH thinks wedding planning is for girls. He gives me the 'everybody I've asked said to leave it to the girl' part. How male-chauvinistic is that? What a load of crock.

His job is to be the ultimate critic and whiner. :P

I would believe him more if he said 'I trust you to handle things hon, you're such a better planner then me and I would only get in your way.'

so far we've tried to do everything together. I'm a little bit of a control freak and am trying to let him pick out things like the tux, so we'll see how it all goes.
