FI and I are Christmas Obsessed! OPINIONS

As a result, I thought it would be quite adorable to see if we could rent out the local Santa Photo Area in the mall. This way we would have a fun and festive area to take pictures in December that’s right near our reception hall. PLUS – we could even take pictures with Santa and our bridal party lol

Im also thinking of hiring a Santa to come to our reception and hand out Santa hats and play a fun holiday song! Santa Hats being the only give out!

What do you think of this idea? Are they overly cheesy? I mean I love the idea but I think the guests would enjoy it too! Feedback please

Its a lil cheesy BUT I think it is an adorable idea! If I went to a wedding and they did that I would enjoy myself and REMEMBER that wedding!

Thanks for the feedback - happy to see Im not the only one on here at 2:15 in the morning! I have to admit my FI and I are pretty cheesy so I think it may just work for us! Thanks for the feedback! I hope its memorable!

Bringing Santa to the reception might be a little over the top, but i think picutures of the bridal party with Santa would be awesome.....

I think the whole idea is cute with christmas being so close to your wedding I dont see why not. I LOOOOVE LOVEE LOVEE christmas and I would really enjoy myself

I think it is a very cute idea ... and since you love xmas and obviously having your wedding around xmas I think it would be a great idea ... I think your guests would love it .... who doesn't like seeing Santa

i think its a great idea and gives your wedding character! just keep the focus on the TWO OF YOU. make sure the jolly guy doesnt steal the show!

I like the idea of the pictures with santa and all but I def wouldn't bring santa into the reception.

Love the ideas! Both taking pics with Santa and having Santa at the reception...I'm trying to convince my FI to have Mickey & Minnie walk out when they introduce us for the first time as 'Mr & Mrs' since our initials are M&M...

I love it!! I think thats the cutest idea!! it's too bad you won't rent a Santa for the evening and have him take pictures in the booth with your guests!!!

You're not alone on the Christmas obsessiveness! I get excited for Christmas in July- I start saying I can't wait for Christmas- hence why I'm getting married 12/29. I think that is such a cute idea to get pictures taken with Santa!! Maybe you could talk to the marketing people at the mall or something- and they could set aside time for you guys. Such a cute idea!!
