We argued the entire time shopping for furniture. We couldnt agree on anything. We have COMPLETELY differents tastes. He likes modern and sleek and dark colors and I'm the opposite. I like fancy and romantic light colored furniture . How do we compromise?

Haven't you seen the Pier 1 commercial? YOu cut out pics and come to a compromise. All kidding aside, Keep shopping around and hopefully you two can agree on something

How about splitting up the rooms that you have? Let him pick the furniture for the living room, you pick the furniture for the bedroom...
