ok.. i already wrote that FI got sick at bbq... he's still not feeling better... he says he feels cold, forehead is burning hot, is lying in the same spot, wont move more than an inch...
any suggestions for what to make him feel better??

take a bag of frozen peas, put 1/2 of them in a ziplock and put them on his head. I'm not kidding - the peas conform to the shape of the head instead of feeling heavy like an ice pack. Leave on for 10 minutes, then off for 20 minutes. I've had to do this for FH several times it's the only thing that makes him more comfortable.

lol... im not even going to mention the idea to him.. one day ill buy peas and shove them in the back of the freezer... hide them from the parents...
would old meat work..LOL... they have plenty of frozen meat, they buy it then freeze it for 1-2 years before they eat it

I usually try to break a fever (if it's less than 103 degrees) by covering myself in many many blankets ... usually fever goes down while you sweat.

well fiance is wearing sweatpants, and a fleece... VERY VERY WARM.. he says he likes it but now he is allowing the fan to be on... thankgoodness its the basement.. id be burning hot if it were the first floor

LOL Nooooo don't put old meat on his head!! (ick do you know what that would smelll like in this heat as is thaws??) but if you have canned peas you can put those in the freezer

Last week I went to NYC with Dale and got food posioning so I know how he feels. I did not feel better until I threw everything up. Let me tell you it was the LONGEST train ride. No air in the car and I think all the suits on the train were looking at me like I was Mt. St. Helen's. I could have went at any time. But thankfully for us all, I waited until I was in the parking lot. No mercy. So I apologize to the people at Ronkonkoma train station.
It was a shame too because it hit right after dinner and it was an expensive one at that. lol. I know probably TMI for now. hehehe.
But seriously, I hope he is feeling better and make sure heg ets plenty of fluids.
