Fi spoiled my V-Day gift. Please help

Fi spoiled my V-Day gift. Please help

My FI loves waffles and breakfast foods (and chocolate)
I found this chocolate waffle mix at William Sonoma last month and planned to make him that for Valentine's Day and give him a card and some other chocolate stuff he likes.

Now he told me 10 minutes ago - he wants to make breakfast. He's never done that before so I don't want to discourage him. It is a nice idea (after all - it's the same as mine!)

I don't think I can do it Sunday so now I have to think of another idea.

I can't spend lot. I broke the bank for his birthday last week and Christmas.

Any suggestions under $20 (even if it is something to cook, bake or make)

I know it's not a real crisis but I want the day to be nice for him.

Thanks girls!

Make the waffles for desert with some ice cream on top, Belgain Waffles.

Tell him you planned to make him breakfast, and the two of you can each make each other breakfast in the morning. It would be romantic and fun to cook together:)

I must say - the dessert waffle sounds delicious! A little ice cream, whipped cream, and hot fudge! hehe! :o)

I say either do it for dessert or make the breakfast on Sunday (nothing beats a post-nookie hearty breakfast) and with some strawberries and whip cream...you can continue the romance....

You can make him cupcakes and spell out
I love you! across them. One letter for each cupcake.

I did this once and was able to find chocolate letters in the baking section at the Supermarket. FH loves Chocolate too.

what if you buy some red linen napkins, and candles, etc to decorate the table pretty for the breakfast! This way it will feel like room service!
