Has anyone come close to their weddingn(within a few months), notice that they've been fighting with their FI alot?? Just curious cause I got married in July, and I noticed when we moved in together in April, the very bad fights started in May. Just curious if thats happened to anyone....... or maybe its me!

Nope not just you. I got married in October and the few months right b4 the wedding we were certainly fighting a lot more. The wedding planning, moving in together, financing, etc. it all gets to be a bit much. I think there is also a huge adjustment from the ME to WE that is tough

OH YES.......1 MONTH FROM TODAY IS THE WEDDING AND LAST NIGHT I WENT NUTS ON HIM BC MY STRESS LEVEL IS GETTING UP THERE!!

You are definitely not the only one. I agree it definitely has to do with the transition of ME to WE as well as financial issues I mean even if you have saved for your wedding to see all that money just go in one pop can be strenuous. It definitely gets better.

When me and my FH moved in together I noticed we were arguing a lot. After about 6 months of living together, it calmed down. It takes a while to get used to each others habits and stuff. I wouldn't worry, it will be okay.

We fought more at the begining because I was stressed about booking vendors.

yes, always wedding related too...
but its nothing major, arguments which result in a bad mood, but now we spoke to each other, and i think i was so hyped up in planning the 'perfect' wedding that i started neglecting FH, and being a total b**TCH....to him
thank god were doing well, just dont lose sight over WHY your getting married in the FIRST place...because you two love each other

It's not only you! There's a lot of pressure on each of you! Especially when you have expectations of how the 'married life' will be. It adds more pressure and you become so much more sensitive to things... hence, the arguments.

There are so many things to decide on and sometimes it's the beginning of learning how to fight and compromise with each other.
I know we just got over a big fight about budget. My FH even said to me, I wonder if anyone has ever broken up after fighting about the wedding!

you aren't alone... we bought a place together in july 2005 and got engaged in august 2005. so we went from house-buying stress straight to wedding planning stress. now that it is ALL said and done, we get along a lot better.

Oh yeah - stress will do it everytime - just remember why you guys are getting married, and try to remember that stress is an evil little monster in any relationship!!!

yeah we argued for the last 3 months until we got married
2 days before our wedding we were packing for our honeymoon and started throwing things at each other.. it was hysterical, we started laughing after.
it got better after we went for massages!

I notice that we are fighting more now because I am stressed out about booking vendors...I'm sure it will get worse as the date approaches and my stress level goes up

girrlll we fought over Direction cards over this past weekend. lol! the fights can be minor or it can be major... it's all about how you approach the argument.

Thats what happened with me as well. We are about to hit six months of living together and now we are getting along great. The last few months have been like a rollar coaster....really high moments and really low ones. It's tough adjusting at first, especially when it comes to who does what chore (I was stuck doing almost all at first) to sharing financial responsibilities.
