Which would you prefer - or which has a better presentation -- 3-4 slices of filet mognon or the individual filet? Its in a merlot sauce with the onion crisps on top.

I love the Onion Crisps...we had that at the Fox Hollow and it was yummy! I personally like my own personal slice!

Definitely personal filet. If its sliced, do they cook some rare, medium and well done so that everyone can choose how they like it cooked?

Hmmmm, this is a tough one for me...I love filet, but I have to admit that my favorite restaurant in NC serves it whole and cut up....and I prefer the cut up version b/c it has more meat....and the sauce was better......
my vote is: go with the personal filet if you can find out for sure if the slices are 'less' than the whole.....if they are equal, they honestly will make it look amazing in slices.

Pesonal filet. In some cases the plates of sliced filet could be sitting under a heat lamp for a while before served-I would think that I would have a better chance of getting my personal filet medium rare than sliced.
