Film or Digital Videography???

Is there a big quality difference? 8mm seems to be more expensive.

What are you using?

i think people go for super 8 film because it gives it that 'old timey' film-like quality. if i had it in my budget, i would've gone for it!

digital video is becomeing a stardard....
won't be the same exact old fashioned feel if you apply an effect to video but its pretty darn close.

this same battle is the same as film or digital film.

most won't tell the difference.....

oh and digitial is much cheapier

They can also do soooo much more with digital then they can with film. For example the photographer that I ideally want to go with (provided I can afford them) can take out all the power lines and garbage cans and whatever else is in the background of your pictures.

He can even rest the whole background scenery to make it look like you're on a beach in July even though you might be getting married on a cold March day! (Like I probably will be!)
